This new English-Medium campus will co-locate Ysgol Mynydd Isa primary and Argoed High School in a new state-of-the-art educational facility on the existing high school site, creating the ‘Mynydd Isa Campus’. By creating a 21st century learning environment, this new school will improve education continuity and equity for students aged 3 to 16, providing access to modern teaching facilities as well as a nursery and language and Aspergers Specially Resourced Provision.
Once the new building is complete, the existing high school will be demolished and high-quality games pitches constructed in its place.

This much needed modernisation of the school and the new build will be of a high standard and will provide modern, first-class facilities and the best learning opportunities for our children. The Council remains committed to investing in the future of our children and young people. We continue to work to provide a high-quality sustainable education for all our learners.
